Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues
Email |  Print
Dec 03, 2008

Established in 1995, the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues is an informal, bipartisan group of legislators dedicated to maintaining and strengthening the U.S.-Armenia relationship.

The coordinated efforts of this diverse, bipartisan coalition of Congressional friends of the Armenian-American community and Armenia help elevate Armenian-American issues to a much higher profile on Capitol Hill, before the Administration and the U.S. public.

The Caucus is co-chaired by Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Rep. Joe Knollenberg (R-MI). Under their leadership, and with the hard work of Armenian-Americans throughout the country, membership in the Caucus has almost doubled since 2001, and continues to grow. As of September 5, 2008, 157 Members of the House of Representatives serve on the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues.
